Sounds of Happiness
Yesterday, I took a walk along the St. Lawrence river.
I’m lucky: it flows at the end of my street.
I’m lucky: it flows at the end of my street.

At around 7:00 pm, after I’d been walking for more than an hour,
I decided to stop, relax, and enjoy the view.
Listen to the sounds of happiness —
down by the river… right up my street.

I recognize this place. I used to walk there all the time when I lived in Verdun.
I still have the view of the St. Lawrence River here, but a different view, as it gets larger to look more like a lake. Sunset are incredible!

I bet you walked there many times with your dogs, eh?
