Perceptions
On my way back from Outremont, last night, I was waiting at Lionel-Groulx station for the metro to de l’Église when I noticed the WARHOL LIVE poster.
They’re all over the place.

I thought the lighting was cool so I took a picture.
When I turned around, I saw Debbie Harry’s reflection in
the dépanneur’s door.

And I thought: This is how easy it is to feel trapped.
It’s just a perception.

Your post doesn’t make much sense. What was all over the place? Do you mean that there was a lot of the exact same poster everywhere? What do you refer to when you say “This” is how easy it is to feel trapped. What is? And what’s with the trying-too-hard to mix in french vocabulary with your english sentences. You even provide a wiki link to one .. why? Either you assume people know what you’re talking about or you don’t. Why are you even POSTING in English? You just had to work in where you were coming from, where you were headed, and the name of the station you were at. Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! That’s four french-word points for you!

Jef, I think you’re over-thinking things.
I’m one of those ignorant pigs that doesn’t speak French and even I understood Oza’s points. A six year old would understand. Therefore, you’re being fractious and confronting. That’s hardly a nice thing to be, I hope you get better.
Have a nice day.

Hi Jef!
Gee, sorry my post is so confusing for you. Yes, I do mean the exact same poster is all over the place…the place being Montréal.
What do I refer to when I say “This?” Well, at the moment, I’m tempted to answer: your comment. Oops…succumbed to the temptation.
As for “dépanneur,” it’s a Québec thing. Sort of what “souk” is to Morocco, only smaller. And I like to link. It’s magical.
Finally — and I say this with all the love I can conjure up — I bother posting in English because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have had the pleasure to meet you, mon cher Jef (Ding! Ding!).
Namaste xoxo
EDITED: Okay, Jef, you were right to be confused. I replaced “It’s all over the place” with “They’re all over the place.” See? Discussion is good. I learned something. Peace!

Hey Ted!
How Zen of you to step in
But as the saying goes: You can’t please all of the people all of the time.
Namaste…with a side order of hugs xoxo
P.S.: Not speaking French does not make you an ignorant pig. Cancel that thought, please.

Thank You for posting in English, and not just French. I wouldn’t be able to read it otherwise. Just an ignorant American, unable to speak French.
But I can speak blessings of health and abundance on you, and I do

rofl. It was more Jef’s attitude, “why are you even speaking English?” that prompted that.
Was funny – I hadn’t checked your blog for a week or so – and here I am. All kind of very coincidental…
Namaste! Et beaucoups de hugs back.

Hey Mudd,
I must admit that this comments section has interested me almost as much as your post. I love your last comment of your 15 minutes of fame, coined by Andy himself. Very strong.
I received your email and understand.
Love from a fellow Canadian, although I was raised in Upstate NY.
